Vitamin A Supplementation (VAS)
This is a one-year demonstration project (2018-2019) funded by Canada through Nutrition International (NI) in Murang’a County in Kenya. It is implemented by CBCC AFRICA in partnership with Murang’a County Government, Ministry of Education (MoE) and Ministry of Health (MoH). The project is aimed at facilitating and guiding the scale up of Vitamin A Supplementation for children 6-59 months in the county by optimizing delivery through multiple channels including: Health centres, Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centres, Community Units and Community Outreaches and Campaigns.
