2017-2020 Strategy

The National Social and Behaviour Change Communication Strategy for Maternal and New-Born Health (MNH) 2017-2020, was developed by CBCC during the Right Start Initiative-ANZILISHA. This was implemented in partnership with Nutrition International (NI). Anzilisha is a five-year project, implemented between 2015-2020, that aims to support MOH and other stakeholders to support scale up of these MNH interventions for pregnant women & newborn infants and young children. This is in order “To reduce anaemia, low birth weight, mortality and stunting”. The MNH interventions will be implemented in 16 counties purposely selected due to poor MNH indicators in these Counties. These counties include Kilifi, Kwale, Kitui, Narok, Nakuru, Bomet, Bungoma, Kakamega, Bomet, Laikipia, Trans Nzoia, Busia, Migori, Kisumu, Vihiga and Homabay.
