Accelerated Varietal Improvement and Seed Delivery of Legumes and Cereals in Africa (AVISA)

USAID Imarisha Jamii funded by the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through US Agency for International Development – Kenya and East Africa (USAID – KEA) aims to increase the utilization of quality county led health and social services in all the seven sub counties in Turkana County.

The project focuses on rolling out an integrated package of services in HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment, Health, and Social Services for Orphans & Vulnerable Children (OVC’s) and their families, Family Planning, Reproductive Health, Maternal, New-born, Child, and Adolescent Health (FP/RMNCAH) and Nutrition Services through co-created county-led actions and partnerships with the Ministries of Health and Social Services and other key stakeholders. The project targets adult men, Adolescent Girls & Young Women (AGYW), pregnant & breastfeeding women, Persons Living with HIV (PLWH), Key & Priority Populations (KP & PP), young men and adolescent males, adult women, Orphans & Vulnerable Children (OVC’s) and their caregivers.
