Biotisho (meaning well-being) is an Adolescent Integrated Nutrition Project funded by UNICEF and implemented in Samburu-Central Sub County, Samburu County between September 2020 and May 2022.
The implementation of the project is a partnership with CBCC Africa, UNICEF, and Samburu County government through the departments of Health, Agriculture, Education, Water and Sanitation and Gender.

The Accelerated Varietal Improvement and Seed Delivery of Legumes and Cereals in Africa (AVISA) project is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to modernize breeding of seeds and increase income for smallholder farmers. The goal of the project in Tanzania is to stimulate investments into a dynamic, gender and youth responsive groundnut and sorghum seed business; and commodity value chains by facilitating assorted services to groundnuts and sorghum value chain actors. CBCC’s branded communications campaign dubbed ‘Kizazi cha Mabadiliko’ (translated to mean ‘the generation that will bring change’) aims to see young people and farmers as the seeds to a new and bright future, as they achieve their dreams through the improved AVISA seeds. Through this campaign, the project aims to increase awareness on the availability of quality seeds, good agronomic practices, and the importance of ethical practices by all players across the value chain.
